Hi my name is Zoe Leahy and I’m a 21-year-old professional triathlete. I grew up in the small rural town of Goondiwindi and made the move to the Gold Coast two years ago to train with the National Performance Centre under coach, Dan Atkins.
I am currently racing in the U23 ITU level and compete in Sprint and Olympic distance events.
Outside of triathlon I love a trip to the beach, catch up for coffee with friends, explore the beautiful attractions the Gold Coast has to offer and study towards my Bachelor of Exercise Science degree. Growing up in a big country family I strongly value my family and relationships, as well as protecting our animals and environment.
As I am injured and healthy, I have been able to race a lot this year and race internationally for the first time in two years! My best results this season are 2nd Gamagori Continental Cup and 5th Jiayuguan Asian Cup.
