Karen Toulmin

A bit about me. I have been racing triathlon for 5 years now, professionally for the past 3 years. I am a late starter to the sport, taking it up at 30 years old. Alongside triathlon, I also am a busy sheep and beef farm owner, and have two kids, aged 6 and 8.

Some of my recent achievements include:

6th place elite female, Busselton 70.3, May 2018

8th Place elite female, Challenge Shepparton, November 2018

5th place elite female, Taupo 70.3, December 2018

This year I stepped up to full Ironman Distance, which saw me race both IM New Zealand and IM Australia in March, and May 2019 respectively.

13th elite female, IM New Zealand, March 2019

7th Elite female, IM Australia, May 2019

My goals for the upcoming season are to qualify for the 2020 IM 70.3 World Championships, which this year will be hosted by Taupo, New Zealand.
