This year we wanted to show our support to our triathlete family, when the Shimano Big Husky 2020 triathlon event presented itself hosted by Elite Energy, the team at Zoggs were proud to be the main swim sponsor. Running from the 28th of February to the 1 March 2020 it just happens to be the fifteen anniversary of the event, this year has seen the largest attendees with over 4,500 registrations and 511 on the day registrations; it goes to show just how extensive and ever growing the sport of triathlons is.
There was nothing but sunshine and a positive family vibe around the entire event with many people supporting the local community which had been devastated by bushfires just a month prior. Some of our team including two members from our UK office maned a stall selling our new Predator Range exclusively to the triathletes of the event. We had also introduced a new Predator App available in both the App store and Google Play, which measures the matrix of your face and recommends a goggle that would be best for your face. As a result of both the App and also the goggles reputation our best selling goggle over the weekend was the Predator Polarized Ultra which sold out.

The main event consisted of a 1.9 kilometre Open Water Swim, 90 kilometre Bike Ride and a 21 kilometre Run, bringing out some of the fittest adults to journey to Huskisson. Whilst at the event we took a survey of the athletes that used the Predator Goggles and found that 20% of all goggles were the Predators, solidify its number 1 spot as the goggle of choice amongst athletes especially open water athletes.
